I use stickers and sorting activities with every theme throughout the year. Here are a few of the ones I use this time of year.
- Gingerbread sticker scenes for writing prompts
- Christmas character stickers
- Winter/Christmas mini erasers for sorting
- Christmas stickers for sorting with younger students who make put small items like erasers in their mouths.
Here are a few simple craft ideas for this December. I will add an extra fine motor component by having my students sew the buttons on the Christmas Tree cup.
Do your students enjoy Boom Cards™? I use my Brain Break Boom Cards™ as a warm-up and my Build a Picture sets as a reward at the end of a session. They think they are playing a game and I know they are still working on skill-building.
